Computers Stink Some Times

Hi,
Well, so much for working on my site on monday. I was rerecording christi's song, because I was all stuffy and sounded godaweful, and then my computer crashed. I had to wait until my mom got home because my screanreading software that I use to read the computer wasn't talking. She couldn't figure it out so there we were at Circuit City until eight. I finished up a few things and went to bet. As for yesterday, I got so busy typing this story I'm writing that all of the sudden it was 10 and I had to stop.
Today I have a school concert. I play the flute in band. I used to be in chorus until this year but I dropped out. I didn't like the music and I like to enjoy what I'm singing. Anyway, it should be fun. I also have radeo station today. I love that. It's afterschool and I get to go be a dj at this radeo station at a school for people in wheelchairs. Last week the radeo equiptment wasn't working so we sang songs occapella. It was kind of fun although we all were dissappointed that the stuff wouldn't work. I wonder if it will today.
Well, I think I have to get off now. I have to go to school.
Later.

Just A Little Update

Hey all,
I finally got my microphone to work last night. So, I have Christi's song recorded now. My next step is to see if I can get instruments put to it. That might not be doable for a long while though. I might need someone with more computer skills. It's worth a shot though, right?
If I can find a good file host I'll upload it so you guys could here it.
Today I'm just hanging out. We might go out to lunch but other than that I think that's all I've got planned. Maybe I'll do work on one or both of my sites. Or maybe I'll have another massive three way with some friends like I did last weekend.
Anyway, check up on the sites, I may add something. And I'll see if I can find somewhare to upload that file so you guys can check it out. Have a nice day.

More Songs

Hi again.
A friend of mine wanted to read some more of my lyrics so I thought I'd post them here. If possible I will even try to upload the tracks that I recored so you all can here me actually singing them.
This one I wrote when I was nine about summer camp:

Stay Here

Leaving,
Would be like telling me,
To do the meer impossible.
I don't know how I'll manage tomorrow.
It seems like,
We just got here,
And now it is the end.
All I want to do is stop the clocks and stay here forever.
One day,
Maybe more.
As long as I can.
all I want to do is,
Stay here.

Always Thinking Of You
Dedicated to Anne Smith
There will never,
Be anyone,
As wonderful,
As you in my life.
All the time,
No matter where I am,
I'm always thinking of you.

Here With Me
To Grandma. I miss you!

If I could have one thing,
Just one thing right now.
It'd be to see you again.
Even if it were,
For only a minute,
It would mean everything to me.
While I sit here.,
In the memories,
That I recall vividly,
I wish that I could,
Se you one more time.
See you right here with me.

Those Creative Juices Flow

Hey everyone,
I thought I'd share a little something I wrote today. I wrote it for a girl whos website I came across online. She was nine years old when she passed away a few months ago and had been fighting cancer for a few years. She was very outgoing and inspirational and will be remembered by many for years to come. Although I never met her in person I felt like I had because she had touched my heart with her happy and caring way. This, I wrote, in memory of Christi Thomas
www.christithomas.com and www.christithomas.blogspot.com

You Will Always Be Remembered
In Memory of Christi Thomas
By Ashley Bernard

So far but yet so near,
I can still see you so clear,
Just like you were right here right now.
Because to me you're never gone.
You will always live on.
In my memory and in my heart,
No matter where I go.

You will always be remembered.
You have touched so many lives.
You have shown me so many things,
That I've never realized.
That no matter what goes wrong,
You must not stop but move along.
To enjoy life every day,
In every way.

though I never quite knew you,
It was still hard for me too.
When I found that you had left this world.
But I had to continue,
Because I knew you'd want me to.
You'd want me to think of the better times.

You'll always be remembered.
You have touched so many lives.
You have shown me so many things,
That I've never realized.
That no matter what goes wrong,
You must not stop but move along.
To enjoy life every day,
In every way.

I have a tune to it and if I can get all needed technology working might be able to record it with background music. I'll have to see.
Updates will be coming on the sites more than likely monday. I have that day off and I'll probably just be sitting at home.
Talk to you soon, and don't forget to comment.

Hello

Hello all!
I hope you all enjoy, weather you're visitors of blindfriends.net or my upcoming site, Children With Cancer. Maybe you're just a friend. Anyway, enjoy!!
For those who do not know me, or want to know about my sites, I will tell you a bit about everything.
My name is Ashley. I am fourteen years old and have bilateral anopthelmia and rhysomillic dwarfism. Basically that means that I don't have eyes, just prosthetics, and my limbs are shorter than normal. I attend public school and have PT, a teacher who helps me with braille and other adaptations, and an aid. If any of you guys are reading this, you all rule!!!
Because of my disabilities, great knolidge of them, and couragiousness I created two websites. One is blindfriends.net, and the other is recently created and is www.freewebs.com/cwci.
Blindfriends.net was created to give people information on blindness and to give blind people a place to connect with others like them. My new one is created for people who are connected with a child with cancer or want to know more about cancer. If you have a child with a webpage, and if you want your child's page on my site, please email nisa764.
Along with new information on the websites I will also be posting to let you know what's going on in my life. I'm always busy and always have something interesting to talk about. As you can probably already see, I like to talk.
Check back often!
Ashley
